• Remote, quiet, peaceful, private campsite in a lovely cave with a view
    16 September 2017

There are few campsites where one can stay in a natural cave which is accessible by road and has hot and cold running water. We particularly like the fact that the campsite is secluded. There are no neighbouring campers, one has the whole mountainside to ones-self. Other highlights are: A good sunset view of the sea, beautiful natural vegetation with a wealth of birdlife, great protection from the wind, a large and spacious cave and a wonderful area to explore for the bold and adventurous scrambler of rocks.

  • Mountain Gem

Far above the restless world below, even in high season, this beautiful farm offers peace and quiet rest to those looking for a proper break-away.
The accommodation is very basic, thus may not be everyone's cup of tea, but we enjoyed the clean simplicity. It was fun preparing food on an in-house braai fire in a century old house.
Personal touch from owner to ensure any requirements are looked after.
